"Sexual Assault Awareness Month"

My Sisters' Place (MSP) is preparing for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, which will be in April.
Starting off the month on April 1, 2009 we are on the agenda of the Lincoln County Commissioner's Meeting at 9:30 a.m. to proclaim April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Lincoln County. Following the proclamation, on the Courthouse lawn, MSP will be displaying The Clothesline Project featuring about 100 t-shirts crafted by locals to aid in the healing process and to celebrate the lives and memories of loved ones, victims, and survivors of sexual assault.
April 10 & 11, 2009 MSP will take The Clothesline Project to Lincoln City and display the t-shirts at the Tanger Outlet Mall, Suite 203 (next to the Gap) from 10-4. We will have art supplies and t-shirts on hand for those wishing to design their own t-shirt to add to the display.
