My Sisters' Place In the News
My Sisters' Place has enjoyed all of the community support we have received. Here are just a few examples.
- A big thank you to Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund. We just received notice that they are awarding us $2,000 for bus tickets. This will go a long way in ensuring that victims reach safety and get the services they need in the community.
- President Obama has declared April as National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
- An exciting announcement from The Dapper Frog in the Oregonian about our Pet Shelter campaign. If you would like more information about this project, please call us at (541) 574-9424.
- We had a picture in the Newport News Times about our recent donation from the Newport Lions and Waldport Lions for Red Cross First Aid Kits. These kits will be placed in the shelter for emergencies.
